Across Our Priority Landscapes , more than 1000 people volunteer at BHI . That’s thousands of neighbors, business leaders, parents, teens, community advocates and individuals who want to give back. BHI Volunteers are people of all ages—from all walks of life—the resources they fundraise or mobilize helps put nature on the path to recovery. Our volunteers are critical to implementing everything that happens at BHI  and in their communities.

1000 VOLUNTEERS

Today, in Uganda alone, BHI  has nearly 1000 volunteers.400

400 volunteers help influence policy and strategy at a local Hub.

Volunteers are essential to fulfilling the BHI’s purpose to Conserve and Restore Biodiversity, Our members, program participants and neighbors all want the same thing: a world where people and nature can thrive. They strengthen our leadership by serving on our boards; they help us fundraise by leading our annual and capital campaigns; and they transform lives each day by serving as youth Volunteers, mentors,  and leaders in our Hub facilities and in the community.
